Eucalyptus radiata contains a combination of 1,8-cineole, alpha-terpineol, limonene, alpha-pinene, alpha-thujene, and terpenyl acetate. Terpineols have significant immunostimulating and antiviral effects. Excellent for inhalation to relieve sinusitis, and for topical use to treat chesty coughs. The 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol) it contains provides an anti-inflammatory effect on the respiratory system, as well as anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity for muscles and joints. Excellent synergy with Scots pine and marjoram.

Massage: To obtain a 5% dilution, ideal for massages, mix 5 ml of essential oil with 100 ml of vegetable oil, alcohol-free gel, cream or virgin massage emulsion.

Inhalation: Apply 2 drops to a handkerchief and inhale for a few minutes. Stop if you experience any discomfort. Repeat 4 to 5 times a day OR boil water, remove from heat, pour into a dish, add a few drops of essential oil, cover your head with a towel and inhale gently OR apply to your wrists.

In the bath: Pour 10 drops of pure essential oil onto a handful of sea salt.

Essential oil diffusers: Add a few drops to a diffuser of your choice. Duration: 10 to 15 minutes depending on the size of the room.
